O Bart! Where are you? Miss you.

Pet peeve: “Wherefore art thou Romeo?” (Romeo and Juliet, Act 2, Scene II) does not mean “Where you at, Romes?” It means, “Why are you Romeo?” Soon after is the equally-famous “names don’t matter” line: “What’s in a name? that which we call a rose / By any other name would smell as sweet” (Romeo and Juliet, Act 2, Scene II).

One of my pet peeves, as well. Love that play, especially that scene.

    Nice blog! 🙂

What’s Montague? it is nor hand, nor foot,
Nor arm, nor face, nor any other part
Belonging to a man. O, be some other name!
